    职位概述
    我们是一家快速发展的港口拖运运输公司,专注于洛杉矶和长滩港之间的本地集装箱提取和配送。
    调度/运营经理将负责日常调度和运营管理,协调司机、客户和码头,确保集装箱的准时、经济且合规的运输。


    主要职责
    运营与调度
    规划和安排每日集装箱的提取和配送;分配路线并协调司机以最大化车队利用率。
    使用PierPass及其他码头预约系统预订码头预约并管理集装箱放行。
    监控集装箱状态和截止时间,避免产生滞留或延滞费用。
    处理突发问题(如码头拥堵、司机缺勤、设备短缺)并迅速调整计划。
    客户服务与文档管理
    主动与客户、货运代理和承运商沟通,提供货物状态更新。
    审核和管理运输文件(提单、交货单、码头费用),确保准确无误并按时完成。
    团队与合规
    随著车队规模增长,招聘、培训和管理司机。
    确保遵守DOT、FMCSA及港口安全规定。
    与公司管理层紧密合作,提高运营效率并控制成本。
    任职资格
    必需条件
    在洛杉矶/长滩地区拥有1-3年以上港口拖运或卡车调度/运营经验。
    熟悉eModal、PierPass及码头预约系统。
    英语沟通能力优秀;中英文双语者优先。
    熟悉集装箱文档及港口流程(交货单、滞留费、延滞费)。
    能在快节奏环境中保持冷静并快速决策。
    优先条件
    持有效TWIC卡。
    熟悉DOT/FMSCA合规及车队安全管理。
    具有团队管理或运营管理经验。
    技能与能力
    优秀的时间管理与多任务处理能力。
    高水平的客户服务意识和解决问题能力。
    熟练使用Microsoft Excel、Google Sheets及基础数据分析。


    薪酬与福利
    薪资范围:调度级别候选人每小时$25-$35;经验丰富的运营经理年薪$70,000-$90,000(视经验而定)。

    Job Title: Dispatch / Operations Manager
    Location: Los Angeles / Long Beach, CA - On-site
    Job Summary
    We are a growing port drayage trucking company specializing
    in local container pickup and delivery between the Los Angeles and Long Beach
    ports.
    The Dispatch / Operations Manager will oversee daily dispatching and
    operations, coordinating drivers, customers, and terminals to ensure timely,
    cost-effective, and compliant movement of containers.
    Key Responsibilities
    Operations & Dispatching
    Plan and schedule daily
    container pickups and deliveries; assign routes and coordinate with
    drivers to maximize fleet utilization.
    Book terminal
    appointments and manage container releases using systems such as Pier
    Pass, and other terminal scheduling platforms.
    Monitor container status
    and deadlines to avoid demurrage or detention charges.
    Handle unexpected issues
    (e.g., terminal congestion, driver absence, equipment shortages) and
    adjust schedules quickly.
    Customer Service & Documentation
    Communicate proactively
    with customers, freight forwarders, and carriers to provide updates on
    shipment status.
    Review and manage
    shipping documents (bills of lading, delivery orders, terminal fees) with
    accuracy and attention to deadlines.
    Team & Compliance
    Recruit, train, and
    manage drivers as the fleet grows.
    Ensure compliance with DOT,
    FMCSA, and port security regulations.
    Work closely with
    company leadership to improve operational efficiency and cost control.
    Qualifications
    Required
    1-3+ years of
    dispatching or operations experience in port drayage or trucking
    within the Los Angeles/Long Beach area.
    Strong knowledge of
    eModal, PierPass, and terminal appointment systems.
    Excellent English
    communication skills; bilingual English/Chinese is a plus.
    Familiarity with
    container documentation and port processes (delivery orders, demurrage,
    detention).
    Ability to stay calm and
    make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
    Preferred
    Valid TWIC card.
    Knowledge of DOT/FMSCA
    compliance and fleet safety management.
    Prior team leadership or
    operations management experience.
    Skills & Competencies
    Strong time management
    and multitasking abilities.
    High level of customer
    service and problem-solving skills.
    Proficiency in Microsoft
    Excel, Google Sheets, and basic data analysis.
    Compensation & Benefits
    Salary range: $25-$35
    per hour for dispatch-level candidates or $70k-$90k annually
    for experienced operations managers (depending on experience).
