Position Overview:
The Marketing Assistant will work as part of the Marketing Department to support the execution of design projects, marketing campaigns and brand initiatives. This individual will assist with the development of new product packaging, develop traditional and digital assets, manage marketing campaigns, and provide administrative support for project management and event planning.
Key Responsibilities:
● Work with agencies to develop product packaging, digital assets, POS materials, and
promotional content.
● Handle in-house design requests ensuring quality and adherence to brand guidelines.
● Work with agencies to create content for press releases, blogs, social media, and ads.
● Coordinate marketing initiatives with internal teams, vendors, and agencies.
● Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social, influencer, ecommerce, events, media).
● Monitor social trends to help manage social and digital campaigns for assigned brands.
● Update marketing content across digital platforms.
● Maintain and update the marketing asset library.
Other Responsibilities:
● Analyze campaign performance and collaborate on annual brand strategies.
● Conduct competitor research and analyze market trends and consumer behavior.
● Assist in preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
● Support coordination of events, sponsorships, and trade shows.
● Handle data entry, budget tracking, and invoice reconciliation.
● Track and reorder premiums and POS materials.
● Other duties as required to support team objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
● Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
● Knowledge of graphic design principles, including proficiency in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator (InDesign is a plus)
● Able to work independently to manage assigned projects with a go-getter mentality.
● Bilingual in Chinese & English with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
● 4- year college degree with emphasis on design
● Strong communication skills with the ability to influence.
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
● Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
Big Plus:
● Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web design.
● Experience with photography, video editing, or content creation.
● Knowledge of digital ad platforms such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.
● Comfortable with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables) and Google applications.
● CRM management experience with platforms like Mailchimp.
